potash project is equipping in centeral kavir of iran with the aim of producing
50000 Ton KCL yearly. Through this project, the Brine of playa is gathered by
channels and transferred to solar ponds which have an area about 14 km2.
Nacl and carnallite (KCL ,Mgcl2 , 6 H2O ) will settle separatly in these solar
ponds and then will be harvested. Carnallite will be grinded in plant and then the
Nacl gangue will separate as over flow of flotation calls. in next step carnallite
decomposes and Kcl (with purity over of 95%) will be produced and packed
after drying. In this project we have two by products washed nacl with over
of 95% purity and Mg(OH2) with over of 98% purity.
the design of basic Eng. Is done by one iranian (Itcen ) and two german
consulting companies (Ercosplan and KUTEC).
